Dana Laree "Deets" Brennan, 74, of Topeka, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022.

She was born May 24, 1947, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Paul Andrew and Melba Arlene (Worswick) Clemmer. She graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1965 and certainly enjoyed her time as a cheerleader and later attended the University of Kansas graduating with a degree in History.

Dana was an avid Christian and very strong in her faith. She was a woman with a wonderful heart; the best wife, sister, Nana and friend ever.

She enjoyed playing tennis and fishing. She loved gardening and cooking with her family. Furthermore, Dana loved going on cruises with her husband Bob and traveling with her family to Branson and visiting the Lake of the Ozarks.

Dana worked in her early years for the Time Magazine in New York after college. She was very active in her husband's home building business and restaurant clubs. Dana also worked as an adjuster on insurance claims for over 10 years.

She was the best wife, sister, friend, and Nana ever!

Dana married Robert A. Brennan Jr. on May 19, 1972 in Topeka, Kansas. She is survived by her husband Robert A. Brennan of 50 years; daughters, Mandy (Dylan) Buchanan and Marcy (Darin) Dalrymple; grandchildren, Teghan Beam, Ashley Stricker, and Brennan Dalrymple; her mother, Melba Clemmer; sisters, Diana Carpenter, Deborah (Bruce) Eberline, Mary Lowery and Sharon (Dan) Guarascio and sisters in law, Cathy (Craig) McCoy and Nancy (Larry) Woodward.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul; her in laws, Barbara Brennan Crites and Don Crites and her loving son, Michael Robert Brennan who passed on January 12, 2022 and her sister in law, Stacie Jean Brennan.

A Celebration of her Life will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th, Topeka, KS 66604. Private burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in her son's honor to the Washburn University Foundation; A Legacy Michael Robert Brennan will give to a theater student yearly or to Helping Hands Humane Society 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
