Dale E. McCormick, 42, of Topeka, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013.
Dale was born February 26, 1971, in Topeka, son of Mary L. (Finley) McCormick Ekey and Billy Joe McCormick. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School and attended the University of Kansas.
Dale is survived by his mother, Mary McCormick Ekey, Topeka, brother, Mark (Shannon) McCormick, Olathe, and nieces, Haley, Holly, and Heidi McCormick.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Countryside United Methodist Church, Topeka. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka, is assisting the family with arrangements.
