Colt Micah Turkin, infant son of Damon and Ashly Turkin, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Stormont-Vail Health Center.
Colt is survived by his parents, Damon and Ashly of Topeka; grandmothers, Carla D. Turkin and Becky Williams, both of Topeka; grandfathers, Rick D. Turkin of Berryton and Larry Auten, and Patrick Williams, both of Topeka; great-grandmothers, Helen Garner, Margaret F. Stadler, Ellen Auten, and Mary H. Allen, all of Topeka; great-grandfathers, Edward Creech, Curt (Juanita) Turkin, and Robert Allen, all of Topeka; aunts, Erin Auten, April Turkin and Hailee Auten; and uncles, Jayme Turkin, Adam Auten, and Dez Burns.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Carl V. Garner, and great-grandfathers, Junior F. Auten and Francis L. Stadler.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m., Friday, December 6, 2013 on at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00p.m. on the day of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colt Turkin Memorial Fund, c/o Kaw Valley Bank, 1944 North Topeka Blvd., Topeka, KS 66608.
