Colleen Moore, 82, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
She was born October 6, 1936 in Oswego, Kansas, the daughter of Leonard and Ruby (Jones) Strickland.
She attended high school in Altamont, Kansas.
She married Jack Moore on August 22, 1958 in Parsons, Kansas.
She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She also enjoyed watching basketball, whether it was the KU Jayhawks or the K-State Wildcats.
Watching NASCAR (Go Dale Earnhardt Jr.!) and playing the slot machines at the casino were some of her favorite hobbies.
She is survived by her husband Jack Moore; children Jeff (Barbara) Moore and Pam (Aaron) Vargas; brothers, Marion Strickland and Jimmy Strickland; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Virginia Wade and Lois "Tootie" Kennedy

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19th, 2018, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave. Topeka. Graveside services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6th and Gage.
