Clyde Leon Randol, Jr.

Mr. Clyde Leon "Butch" Randol, Jr., 63, of Topeka passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 in a local hospital. He was born on June 23, 1940 in Topeka to Clyde and Genevieve Matthews Randol.

Butch was employed with the B.N.S.F. Railroad from June 22, 1967 until his retirement on April 15, 2002.

On Jan. 6, 1962 he married Kay Hansford, she survives and lives in Topeka. Other survivors include his son Bill Randol, two daughters Kathy Frye of Overbrook and Kelly Bowers, grandchildren Linda, Jamie and Joe, 3 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mr. Randol will lie in state on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 beginning at Noon, the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town. The funeral will be Wed., Feb. 4, 2004 at 11:00 am, in Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
