Clinton Bartley

Clinton C. Bartley, 77, Topeka, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at his home. Born on March 17, 1932 in Hiawatha, KS the son of Glenn and Grace Bartley.

Clinton married Phyllis June Neff on Feb. 13, 1976 in Topeka. They were married for 33 years.

He was a graduate of Hiawatha High School and the University of Kansas with a degree in Accounting.

Clinton's career consisted of working at Ramada Inn for 17 years and the State of Kansas as a Tech I, retiring in 1994. He was also an avid volunteer in his community.

Clinton was very active in his church, Grace Episcopal Cathedral serving in many capacities over the years, coordinating the largest church garage sale with the proceeds going to Missions.

Clinton loved his grandkids and great-grandchildren very much. He also had a love for antiquing.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, two sons, Richard and his wife, Barbara and Tim and his wife, Diane; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill, Francis and Freeman Bartley and one sister, Sylvia Bartley.

Preceding him in death were 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Requiem Eucharist will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thurs., June 25 at Grace Episcopal Cathedral. Inurnment will follow in the Chapel of Resurrection.
