Clifton Rodgers
Clifton D. Rodgers, 69, of Topeka, passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2006 with his family at his side after losing his year-long battle with lung cancer.
He was born Oct. 18, 1937 in Slaton, TX, the son of Walter and Minnie Rodgers.
Cliff retired from the Santa Fe Railroad in 1998 where he had worked for 33 years as a Rate Clerk. After retirement, he drove a bus for Shawnee Heights High School in his spare time. He also had a passion for fixing up old cars and trucks out in his garage.
A memorial service will be held for Cliff at 11:00 am, Tuesday, Nov. 21 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW. 10th St., Topeka, KS 66604.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
