Clifford W. Pagles, 66, Scranton, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at a local hospital.
Clifford was born November 24, 1942 in Rockford, IL, the son of Wayne and Dorothy (Dennison) Pagles.
He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1965.
He worked at Goodyear for 36 years, retiring in 2003.
Clifford married Vicky Hill on August 14, 1965 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include sons, Kurtis Pagles, Scranton, Arthur (Sandy) Pagles, Topeka; granddaughters, Kayla and Samantha; sister, Katie Rowl, Rockford, IL; brothers, Harold Pagles, Monroe Center, IL, Fred Pagles, New London, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Mount Hope Cemetery. Clifford will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday and visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
