Clifford Dale Mills, 84, of Topeka, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010.
He was born August 27, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of William Bryan and Sylvia L. (Gregg) Mills. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during WW II. He retired from long haul transportation service.
He was a member of Philip Billard Post No. 1650 of the V.F.W., Capitol Post No. 1 of American Legion and Topeka Masonic Lodge No. 17, A.F.&A.M.
Clifford married Jean Dean on April 6, 1996 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include step-children, Phyllis (Jim) Hayden, Max (Tammy) Dean, and Eric (Lorri) Dean; 3 grandchildren, a sister and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside ceremonies with military honors will be 2 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2010 at Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital, 2001 South Lindbergh Boulevard, Saint Louis, MO 63131. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family.
