Cleora Mangold McNees Miller

Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 19, 2004, at the age of 89. Surrounded by her family, she slipped peacefully into eternity at Stormont-Vail hospital. She was born in 1915, was educated and taught school in Vassar, Kansas. She was married to Charles Albert McNees and they moved to California where they raised their 3 children. After being widowed, she cared for her father, Ira Mangold. She returned to Kansas in her later life to marry Alvin Miller of Quenemo. He survives as well as her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends who will miss her generous, kind, gentle spirit.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at Vassar United Methodist church on Friday, May 21 at 2pm. Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel is in charge of arrangments. On-line condolences may be made at www.penwellgabel.com.
