Claudean N. Thompson

Claudean N. Thompson, 87, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born on February 14, 1922 in Goff, the daughter of Claude and Iva Heald McKellips. Claudean married George F. Thompson, Sr. He preceded her in death in 1978. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Fern Ratliff and Mildred Ward. Survivors include one son, Lynn Thompson of Aurora, OH, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one sister, Marcena Simmons of Seattle, WA. Cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place in Topeka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care Hospice, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
