Claude Allen Kershner

Allen died March 5, 2025 at the age of 79, and is survived by siblings, David Kershner and Ellen Kershner, ex-wife Janean and son, Joel, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Vera Kershner.

Allen loved art, designing, drawing, clothes, music, and skiing. He was raised in Wichita, Kansas, and graduated from the Kansas State University School of Architecture. He was a practicing, licensed architect for 20 years in Colorado Springs, CO, Wichita, KS, St. Joseph, MO, and Topeka, KS.

His family will greet relatives and friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday,March 20, 2025 at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062. Private memorial services will be held later. In his honor, memorial contributions can be made to Kansas Legal Services.
