Clarence E. Wolf went back to the arms of his Savior on December 4, 2004.
Mr. Wolf was born July 14, 1925 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Rudolf Wolf and Florence Beach Wolf. He had three brothers and two sisters, all of whom are deceased.
Mr. Wolf was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Flora on January 2, 1997. He is survived by his daughter Michelle Wolf.
Mr. Wolf graduated from High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana and attended one year of college before enlisting in the military.
Mr. Wolf was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served twenty years active duty. During his career, he was stationed all over the world and served in Korea and Vietnam. He earned numerous ribbons and awards during his service including the Air Force Presidential Unit Citation.
Mr. Wolf was an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Topeka.
Some of the greatest joys in his life came through his volunteer work with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka, The William E. Tyree Veterans of Foreign War Post #11255 in Carbondale and Meals on Wheels. Memorial donations may be made to any of these organizations as well as to Helping Hands Humane Society.
Mr. Wolf will lie in state after 12:00 noon Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 11, 2004 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Topeka. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
