Christopher R. Quinton, 33, of Topeka, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2007.
He was born Oct. 15, 1973 in Wichita, KS, the son of Leon and Jeanne Madsen Quinton.
He was a 1992 graduate of Washburn Rural High School and attended Haskell Indian College. Most recently, he worked for Heartland Park Raceway. He will be remembered by his family and many friends for his love of fishing and hunting.
He married Tina Sukeforth on June 12, 2004 in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Haley Quinton and Tija Sukeforth; a son, Mitch Sukeforth, all of Topeka; parents, Leon and Jeanne Quinton, Dallas, TX; a brother, Mat Quinton, Wichita; a sister, Meri Scott, Katy, TX and grandmother, Aleta Madsen, Derby, KS.
Chris will lie in state after 1:00 pm today at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 pm this evening. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, Feb. 22 at the funeral chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
