Christine Denise Hawn, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away on December 30, 2024, in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on March 14, 1960, in Holton, Kansas, where her beautiful journey began. Christine graduated from Valley Falls High School, and her life would become a testament to the values she held dear: hard work, compassion, and joy.

Throughout her life, Christine was a beacon of light. Her greatest pride resided in her family. Christine loved her son, Jason, and cherished his partner, Sandra. Her brothers, Mark and Kevin Harmon, and her sister, Susie Harmon, were her companions through life’s journey, providing support and sharing in the beautiful highs and inevitable lows. Christine also had a close bond with her beloved dog, Maggie Mae, who was her loyal companion, along with the many other animals that had filled her heart and home through the years.

Christine’s passions were as bright as her spirit. She found joy in music, often enjoying time listening to the radio, captivated by the melodies that filled her home. Her love for nature saw her reveling in outdoor adventures, especially camping where evenings spent by the firepit brought her peace and happiness. She also loved relaxing and watching TV, embracing the simple pleasures of life.

Christine was preceded in death by her father, Denzil Harmon, her mother, Ida Harmon, and her sister, Deana Huske. Their absence leaves a void in the hearts of her family, yet they continue to hold her memory close, reminding them of the lessons she imparted and the love she radiated.
