Christine "Christy" Claspill, 46, of Topeka, peacefully passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023.
She was born August 29, 1977, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Timothy "Tim" Claspill.
Christine lived at Exploring Life in Topeka. She absolutely loved people. Christy enjoyed being outdoors, especially swimming and swinging on the patio. She enjoyed listening to music boxes, loved animals, having her nails painted and being read too. Christy had a collection of stuffed bunnies and wearing fuzzy socks. She had a sweet tooth and thoroughly enjoyed having a good meal. While living at Exploring Life, she attended the Dance house with her friends dancing.
A funeral service to honor Christy will take place at 12:00pm on November 1, 2023 at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604. A visitation will take place the hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, KS immediately following the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation 4500 Cooper Road, Suite 204, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
