Christina A. Cimino, 69, of Topeka, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 28, 2023.
She was born June 24, 1954, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Carol (England) McKenna. She graduated from Stratford High School.
Christina loved her family fiercely, they meant the absolute world to her. She adored her grandchildren and being the best Yaya anyone could have.
Fishing and arts and craft were some of Christina's hobbies. Her ultimate passion though was writing. She was talented in many ways when it came to written word. Christina worked as a columnist for the newspaper in Junction City in addition to having some other works published.
Christina married the love of her life Randy Cimino on June 6, 1981 in Topeka, Kansas; he survives. Other survivors include her children, Elizabeth (Joe) Bockstahler and their children, Laura (17), Lucas (16), Leah (13), Lucy (7), and Logan (4); Becca (Chaney) Nelson , and Matthew (Cassi) Cimino and their children, Eddie (14), Charlie (12), Athena (8), Tristan (3) and Sebastian (1); and her sisters, Mary Harris and Jennifer Callantine. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, David McKenna, Tim McKenna, Janet McKenna.
Cremation is planned and private services will be held.
