Chong (Cho) Ekis, 73, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
She was born February 22, 1943, in Bu-An, Korea, the daughter of Byung Hui Oh and Mal Jae Gil.
Mrs. Ekis was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Chong married Ronald E. Ekis, Sr. on December 8, 1973. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Ronald E. Ekis, Jr. (Stacy), Donald Ekis (Kelly) and Song Jeong-Man; four grandchildren, Noah, Makayla, Elijah and Mason Ekis and one brother, Pan Son Oh.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Private interment will be at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
