Charlotte Wyatt, 92, Topeka, passed away Friday, May 16, 2008, at Midland Hospice House.
She was born in Eldora, IA, the daughter of Elmer and Ida (Albright) Wolfe.
Charlotte graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from McPherson College.
Charlotte married Leland Miller and later married James Wyatt. They both preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wyatt had a profound love for children, retiring after 37 years of teaching and for the past 7 years resided in the McCrite Plaza Retirement Community.
Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Sylvia and husband, David Hall of Fairfax, VA; Ginny Peters of Topeka and a son, Preston and wife, Brenda Miller of Carbondale; 9 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wed. May 21, 2008 at First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Charlotte will lie in state after 2:00 p.m., Tues. at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, visitation from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Charlotte requests no black attire at her services.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Brethren, to be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Church of the Brethren or Midland Hospice House.
