Charles Walker, 75, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022.
He was born August 20, 1947, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of M. Gilbert and Billie B. (Curry) Walker. He served in the Navy during Vietnam War.
Charles was employed by the Topeka Police Department for 25 years, and then with SMG Corporation until his retirement in 2013.
Charles married Mary Levings on November 2, 1984 in Topeka. Survivors include his wife, Mary Walker, Son, Steven (Kayla) Walker, Daughter, Katie Walker, Grandchildren, Mickey Wittman, Cameron Walker, and Lilah Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles enjoyed motorcycles, racing, woodworking and the Kansas City Chiefs.
A celebration of life is planned for Friday, October 14, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Reynold's Lodge at Lake Shawnee.
