Charles William "Chuck" Revelle, 81, of Topeka, passed from death to life on Monday, September 16, 2013.
Charles was a graduate of Topeka High School. He retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 42 years of service as a purchasing agent.
He was an active church member all his life, serving in various capacities. Most recently, Charles was a member at Fairlawn Church of the Nazarene.
In his earlier years, he coached little league baseball at SCABA and later sang in the New Beginnings Choir.
Charles was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Revelle.
In August 2000, he was united in marriage to Marceline Scott. She survives.
Charles is also survived by his two sons, Ron (Sue) Revelle of Topeka; and Roger (Debbie) Revelle of Olathe; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Revelle of Topeka; and sister, Diana Mackey of Broken Arrow, OK.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013, at Fairlawn Church of the Nazarene, Topeka. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Charles will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
