Charles Louis Corral (Bayless), 56, Topeka, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services.
He was born February 9, 1958, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Florence Corral and Fred Bayless.
He grew up in Houston, Texas and was loving raised by his mother and Phil Corral. He attended public schools in Houston. After high school, he married Janet Faye. Together they had three children. They later divorced. In 1979 he moved back to Topeka.
In 1998, he married Fern M. Bullard in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include his five children, Lany Corral; Charles Jacob Corral; Carly Corral; Candace Bullard and Robert Bullard; father, Philip Corral; six grandchildren, Nalu, Kali, Landon, Brendon, Aiden and Salvatore "Sammy"; five siblings, Fred Bayless, Jr.; David Corral; Arthur "Buddy" Corral; Philip Corral, Jr. and Susan Cecil and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence, father, Fred, sister, Shelly Bayless and infant brother, Douglas Bayless.
Charles had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and playing cards. He was exceptional at drawing, making beautiful cards for birthdays and holidays.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment of the cremated remains will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Manor Care Health Services, 2515 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66614.
