Charlene Boyles Honeyman Foster, 91, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
She was born August 5, 1925, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Nora (Parnell) Boyles.
She attended Highland Park High School.
On May 2, 1942 she married Don Honeyman, together they owned Dairy Freeze in Oakland. During this time, she was also runner up in the Mrs. Kansas competition. She also taught Dale Carnegie classes. In 1961, they moved to Boulder, Colorado where they owned Red Coach Inn Restaurant for a number of years. Later, they moved to Lyons, Colorado and owned Honeyman's Antiques, a business they again, operated for several years. In 1993, they retired to Longmont, Colorado. Don preceded her in death in 2002.
On May 15, 2004, she married Paul C. Foster in Longmont, Colorado. He survives. Other survivors include brother, Jerry Boyles, Topeka; step-son, Michael (Pam) Foster, Round Rock, TX; five grandchildren, Stan Bonnes Jr., Alyssa Reid, Ashley Honeyman, Morgan Honeyman and Bailey Honeyman Buchert; five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her children, Pam Bonnes and Greg Honeyman, sister, Eloise Humpage and granddaughter, Christy Wickwire.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka. Interment will follow.
