Cecil Leroy Woodard

Cecil Leroy Woodard, 82, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Midland Hospice in Topeka.
He was born May 17, 1939, in Foreman, Arkansas, the son of Samuel David and Ruth (Mills) Woodard.
Cecil was a supervisor at Shawnee County Refuse Department, retiring after 40 years of service.
On June 10, 1962, he married Ethel Donna Rae Butler in Topeka. She preceded him in death on November 9, 2021. He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Edith Gordon and Earl Woodard.
Survivors include a daughter, Stacey Woodard (Matt Daley); one brother, Henry Woodard; and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 28, 2022 all at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka. Interment will follow services at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
