Cathy J. Luthi, 59, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2008.
Cathy was born July 28, 1949 in Topeka, the daughter of Clarence and Lavonne (Bratton) Luthi.
She graduated from Topeka West High School in 1967 and Kaw Area Technical School in 1995. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Aldersgate Village and was currently employed at K.N.I.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. Survivors include friends, Melony Lancaster, Chrystal Lancaster, Tieler Lay, Derick Mather, Shelly Coleman and Yvetta Perrault, and numerous other friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Cathy will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Road, Topeka, Kansas 66617 or American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
