Carole Ruse
Carole Ann Ruse, 69, of Topeka, passed away Monday, April 17 at the Rossville Manor in Rossville.
She was born June 14, 1936 in Glenwood, IA, the daughter of Elmer G. and Lilly Mae Johnson Mitchell.
She graduated from Glenwood High School in Glenwood, Iowa. She worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, retiring after more than 30 years of service and was a member of the Topeka Antique Dealers Association.
She married Larry Lee Ruse in December, 1956. They later divorced.
Survivors include three sons: Kent "Rocky" Ruse and his wife Robin of Wichita, Brent "Rick" Ruse of Topeka and Trent Ruse and his wife Tamara of Topeka; three grandchildren, one great grandchild and one brother, Homer Mitchell and his wife Mary Louise of Omaha, NE.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday April 20, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. A graveside service and inurnment will take place at 10:00 am, Saturday, April, 22 at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Iowa.
