Carol Welch
Carol Kay Welch, loving daughter and only child of the late Frank Harold and Evelyn Jane Welch, passed away the morning of January 23, 2007 in Moberly, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will greet friends one half hour prior to the service.
Carol was born August 1, 1952 in Moberly, Missouri and was a 1972 graduate of Highland Park High School. After graduation, Carol worked twenty years at Stormont-Vail Hospital in the surgery department where she made many close friends with her bright smile and positive attitude.
Carol's passion was contemporary music and collecting memorabilia of her favorite artists was her hobby. In addition, her other passion was the Kansas Jayhawks and she remained an enthusiastic fan throughout her life.
Carol was preceded in death by both her parents and her uncle Paul Burton. Carol is survived by her aunt Irene Burton, three cousins, Becky Erdel and husband Richard, Pam Overman and husband Jack, and Paula Chapman and husband Larry all of Columbia, Missouri.
