Carol Ann Shultz- born on April 23, 1942 passed away on August 20, 2017.

Carol was a lively, kind spirit who loved people. She was a dedicated Mother and Grandmother. She adored her grandkids and loved spending time with them.

She graduated with her bachelor's degree in 1964 and a Master in Education in 1969 from Washburn University.

She married the love of her life, Dale E. Shultz in 1969.

Carol was a 3rd grade teacher in the USD 501 School District for over 40 years and a member of the Kappa Delta Pi teacher sorority. She was preceded in death by her late husband Dale E. Shultz, and her father and mother; Esther and Harold Wedoff.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Callaway (Celina, TX) and step-daughter Sherry Yoho (Topeka, Kansas); son in laws Bobby Callaway and Alex Yoho; grandchildren Jackson Callaway, Madelyn Callaway, Lola Callaway, Laney Gliser, and Josh Yoho; great grandchildren Sam Gliser, Julia Gliser, and Sophie Gliser; twin sister Linda Ossiander.

Memorial Services will be held on September 23, 2017 10:00 am at Penwell Gabel Midtown Chapel, 1321 SW. 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3625 SW 29th St, Topeka, KS 66614 or to Encompass Hospice, 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.
