Carol Gunckle
Carol A. Gunckle, 85, Topeka, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at a local hospital.
Carol was born April 20, 1923 in Riley, the daughter of Garrett and Effie (Kleiner) Johnson.
She married Elmer M. Gunckle in 1943. He died December 17, 2005. Survivors include son, Robert (Carol) Gunckle, Meriden; daughters, Dianna (James) Wege-Randolph, Savannah, GA, Judy Johnson, Topeka; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Alberta Myer, Babs Gonzer; and brother, Harold Johnson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary W. Gunckle.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private family inurnment will be in Leonardville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 4300 SW Drury Lane, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
