Carol Ann Burbridge

Carol Ann Burbridge, 64, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 at Midland Hospice House, Topeka. Carol was born Jan. 28, 1947, in Wathena, KS, to Francis and Vesta (Schuler) Burbridge. She lived in Troy for many years and was a 1965 graduate of Troy High School. She later graduated from Emporia State University with a Master's Degree in Library Science. Carol spent the next 42 years with Topeka USD 501, working as a Library Media Specialist, until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard.

Carol was cremated. Inurnment will take place at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Troy, KS. A celebration of Carol's life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Public Schools Foundation, P.O.
