Carl Robert "Perkie" Perkins, 85, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015.
He was a resident of Rose Villa Assisted Living for Veterans.
Perkie was born August 13, 1929, in Edgerton, Kansas, the son of Chester and Melva (Brassfield) Perkins. He served in the US Navy and owned Perkins Construction.
He is survived by a nephew, Kenneth Kane of Burnsville, Minnesota; and a niece, Candice Dowded of Raymore, Missouri.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family.
