Carl Henry "Cotton" Brandle, 94, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010.
Cotton was born September 28, 1915 in Knoxville, TN, the son of Ernest and Zona (Vassey) Brandle. He grew up in Spartanburg, SC.
He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
He was an electrician for Local #226, I.B.E. W. in Topeka for over 60 years.
He was a member and past president of the Eagles.
Cotton married Mary Parr on February 6, 1960 in Oklahoma City. She died April 21, 2006. Survivors include son, Larry Brandle; granddaughter, Danielle Brandle, both of Topeka; and sister, Joan Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
