Buncum Godwin, 86, of Topeka, passed away September 11, 2012. He was born July 15, 1929, in Mount Pleasant, TX, the son of Mack Henry and Lizzy Newman Godwin.
Mr. Godwin retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. He was a member of the VFW and Oakland Baptist Church. Mr. Godwin was a kind and giving man who will be greatly missed. He is survived by children, Blake and Yanna.
Mr. Godwin was cremated and at his request no local services are planned. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel assisted the family.
