Brian Gates

Brian Kendall Gates, 20, of Topeka, formerly of Independence, Kansas, passed away, Sunday, November 30, 2003 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

He was born January 23, 1983 in Dallas, Texas the son of Kendall and Rachel (Thomas) Gates.

Brain was currently a student at the Special Purpose School at K.N.I. in Topeka. He was a member of Troop #118 of the Boy Scouts of America. He had completed the rank of Webelos.

his parents, Kendall and Rachel Gates, Neodesha, KS
one sister, Lindsay K. Gates of the home
his twin brother, Benjamin L. Gates Topeka, KS
Grandparents, Larry and Maxine Gates Caney, KS
and Great Grandparents, Marvin and Juanita Paugh Wichita, KS

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2003 at the chapel at K.N.I.. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggets contributions in Brian's name to the Ronald McDoanld House, 825 SW Buchanan, Topeka, KS 66606. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
