Braden Mark Neddermeyer, 29, formerly of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He was born April 7, 1992, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Mark Neddermeyer and Barbara Allen. His elementary education began at Topeka Lutheran School, he graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 2010 and earned his bachelor's degree from Kansas State University in 2015.
Survivors include his parents, Mark (Lori) Neddermeyer, Topeka and Barbara (Ken) Allen, Lenexa, KS; brother, Cale Neddermeyer; step-sisters, Allison Naill and Madison Allen (Taylor Ploss); nephew, Kayson Neddermeyer; grandparents, Allan and Marjorie Neddermeyer, Pat and Les Brase, and Bruce and Virginia Miller; great-grandma, Laura Langholdt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his step-sister, Madison Rae Naill and uncle, Cory Neddermeyer.
Braden enjoyed the outdoors, from hunting and fishing to water sports. He was also an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan. He was fun loving, caring and the most generous person you could ever meet. Braden was a hard worker with a tender heart. He loved being the hands of Jesus - whatever the need- working with the family at the farm, volunteering at Vacation Bible School, or loading and lifting furniture for friends. He was the first to pitch in when a job needed to be done - and add some fun (maybe some music) and antics if he could. Although he grew up in the city, Braden learned to love the farm, too, once commenting, "Sometimes all you need is a day in the tractor." He was quick to circle the room with warm greetings of welcome to family and friends. He had a unique ability to charge the atmosphere of a room; he added light and life to whatever occasion. Beyond that, he would also take time to meet others heart to heart with genuine and sincere care and concern. The impact he made in the hearts of others will be a lasting legacy.
Visitation will begin at 10am Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1716 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, followed by a memorial service 12pm. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
