Bonnie M. Redmon, 90, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Midland Care.
She was born June 30, 1926 in Columbia, MO, the daughter of Archie and Mildred Golden.
Bonnie married Edward C. Redmon in May 29, 1947 in Topeka. He survives.
She was employed by Capitol Federal Savings & Loan as a data processor for 51 years, retiring in 2011.
Bonnie enjoyed roller skating and bowling in her younger years but her family was her one true love.
Other survivors include a son, Jimmy (Shirley) Redmon of Dallas, TX. ; 5 grandchildren; Becky (Matthew) Voyles, Chris (Lindy) Redmon, Heather (Dan) Makin, Lauren and Caitlyn Redmon; 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; James (Madeline) Golden and Carl (Leota) Golden and 2 sisters; Ruby (Roland) Trahoon and Delores (Richard) Borough; 1 sister in law, Carolyn Golden and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gene and Lonnie Golden.
Bonnie will lie in state after 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW. 10th Ave. Topeka, KS 66604, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm that evening.
A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Gage Park Baptist Church, 3601 SW. 10th, Topeka, KS 66604, to be followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
