Bonnie Eileen Priem, 66, Topeka, formerly of Silver Lake, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015, after a 7 year battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
She was born February 13, 1949, in Brookfield, Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Hazel (Runquist) Still. She was a graduate of Marceline High School in 1967.
Bonnie was employed by the Department of Revenue in Topeka for many years and a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Dean Priem (Topeka); daughter, Heather N Priem (Louisburg, KS); son, Loren M Priem (Breckenridge, CO); and brother, Eddie Still (Marceline, MO). She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 4211 NW Topeka Blvd., Topeka. Cremation will follow the service. Dinner at the church for family and friends will follow the service. Bonnie will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
There is currently being a service and dinner planned to be held at the Bucklin Christian Church in Bucklin, MO at a later date. We will post details and an announcement in the Linn County Leader once plans have been finalized.
