Bonnie A. Sondker, 88, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. She was born on May 9, 1922 in Barnes, Kansas, the daughter of Harry and Mina Evans Sondker. She graduated from Barnes High School in 1939.
She had resided in Topeka since the late 1940's. Bonnie was employed as office manager for the Boy Scouts of America offices in Topeka for 24 years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Fern and Leona.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Fancy Creek Zion Cemetery, Randolph, Kansas. Bonnie will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
