Billy L. Hieronymus, 85, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Midland Hospice House.
Billy was born October 19, 1925 in Shreveport, LA, the daughter of John Elliott and Eunice (Hog) Price.
She was an avid gardener, a member of the Day Lily Club, and enjoyed bowling.
Billy married Homer H. "Hank" Hieronymus on November 18, 1944 in Shreveport, LA. He died April 8, 1995. Survivors include son, Dan Hieronymus, Topeka; daughters, Nancy (Robert ) Mayfield, Topeka, Janie (Bud) Ronsse, Ketchum, OK, Terri (Glen) Sohl, Lawrence, Debbie Weeks, Topeka; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Faye Cecil, Shreveport, LA; and sister-in-law, Gretchen Beal, Longmont, CO. She was also preceded in death by grandchildren, Crystal and Cassie Weeks; and brother, Ray Price.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care Hospice Services, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
