Beulah L. Taylor

Beulah L. Taylor, 85, Topeka, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at McCrite Plaza.

Beulah was born October 2, 1929 in Topeka, the daughter of LeRoy and Neva (Adams) Noe. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1947.

She was employed by the State of Kansas, Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services for 40 years, retiring in 1989.

Beulah was an active member of the American Legion Capitol Post 1 Auxiliary and served as State President from 2001 - 2002. She was also a member of the Beulah Chapter of Eastern Star.

Beulah was married to Elmer Strain for over 20 years. They later divorced. She married Erman Taylor on December 13, 1978. She was preceded in death by her husband, and brothers Kenneth Noe and Norman Noe. Survivors include nieces, Corinne Kidd, Topeka, Hilary Noe, Kirkland, WA; nephews, Bruce Noe, Houston, TX, Adrian Noe, Tecumseh, Scott Noe, Seattle, WA, Greg Noe, Wenatchee, WA; and sister-in-laws Mary Noe, Topeka, Marilyn Noe, Bellevue, WA and several great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel in Topeka. The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow the memorial service. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.

Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
