Betty Nelson , 62, of Topeka, passed away on January 23, 2024 at Stormont Vail Hospital.
She was born on March 26, 1961 to Frank and Katherine (Rosean) McMaster at Topeka, KS.
Betty worked as a Retail Stocker for Wal-Mart for 20yrs
She loved her kids and Grandkids dearly, loved being outside and working in the yard.
On December 21st 1984 she married David Wayne Nelson. Betty and David lived in Topeka, Kansas.
Betty is survived by her loving husband; David, sons; Mark A. Essman, Jr., James M. Nelson, Samuel W Nelson, sisters; Billie JoAnn Nguyen, Candy Phifer, Step-Son, Claude "Buster" Belshe. And 12 Grandkids, Alayna, Mckenna, Anieka, Avery, Lilli, Dj, Seth, Jax, Xander, Parker, Katherine, & Hudson
She was preceded in death by her son; Louie John, Father; Frank C. McMaster, Mother; Katherine M. Sullivan, step-Father; John L. Sullivan, sister; Janet Sue Allen, brother; Ralph C. McMaster, brother-in-law; Toan Cong Nguyen.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, 1:00 pm at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka, Kansas. With a celebration of life to follow at 3pm at Deer Creek Valley RV Park 3140 SE 21st St, Topeka, Kansas 66607
