Betty Leggitt

Betty B. Leggitt, 81, was called home, Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1923 in Osage City, KS., the daughter of Alferd and Alberta Chapman Bauer. Betty graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1941. She was a Topeka resident since 1940. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Leggitt. They were married Nov. 13, 1967,in Topeka, KS. He survives of the home. She was preceeded in death by a son, Larry Reaser. Other survivors include a son, William H. Reaser, New Braunsfels, TX; Step-children, Linda Henderson, Henderson, NV; Kathy Goostree, Paxico, KS; Steve Leggitt, Tecumseh, KS; Deborah Johnson, Santa Clara, CA; Karen Pike, Gig Harbor, WA; two granddaughters, Amy Hettig and Jill Bisso and four great grandchildren. 16 step-grandchildren and 17 step-great grandchildren.
