Betty J. Quast Dew, 88, Topeka, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at Aldersgate Village.
Betty was born November 7, 1926 in Clyde, the daughter of Roy and Clara (Richa) McGinnis. She graduated from Highland Park High School.
She was employed in Quality Control at Hallmark Cards for over 20 years.
She was a member of Topeka Bible Church, Primetimers, Sheparding Center, and volunteered in the Gift Shop at St. Francis Hospital.
Betty married Gene Quast in 1945. He died in 1980. She was married to Don Dew and they later divorced. Survivors include daughter, Deb (Tom) Petersen, Carbondale; grandchildren, Racheal Mallory, Jake (Erin) Petersen; and great-grandchildren, Chris, Lexi, Eli and Grace.
Private family services will be held and inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Legacy Boxer Rescue or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
