Betty D. Beaver, 90, of Topeka, passed away on April 21, 2018 in Wichita, KS.
She was born on March 12, 1928 in Hume, MO to Bert and Goldie Rankin. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1946.
She married Louis R. Beaver April 17, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kerry Beaver in 2006.
She is survived by a son, Craig Beaver (Roxanne); a granddaughter, Holly Barker (Brandon); as well as a daughter-in-law, Patty Beaver.
Betty loved working for Bank of America where she was employed for over 16 years. She also enjoyed getting together with her monthly Pot Luck group. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66604. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Inurnment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6th & Gage.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Alzheimer's Association.
