Bernice E. Fisher, 96, of Topeka, died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at a Manhattan, Ks. retirement center. She was born August 4, 1908 at Topeka, the daughter of Arch Leonard and Elizabeth Clara Cramer Cloud. Mrs. Fisher was a gifted musician,artist and was employed at Peeletiers for several years. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Bethany Sunday School Class. She married William Clinton Fisher in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a son, William Clinton Fisher, Jr. in April of 1994. Survivors include one brother of Leonard Cloud of Virginia, one Daughter-In-Law, Patricia Fisher of Shawnee, Ks., and two granddaughters. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Fisher will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time. During this time the family will receive friends.
