Bernard "Keith" Haubold, 74, Topeka, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007.
Keith was born August 6, 1933 in Topeka. He graduated from Topeka High School and with honors from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving four years in the U.S. Air Force.
His life's work was spent in the advertising, marketing research and graphic arts fields. He owned and operated a sign company for many years in Topeka. He also was a charter member of First Southern Baptist Church, Topeka.
Survivors include a son, Roger Haubold and wife, Tracie, Topeka; and a sister, Justine Haubold Heifner, Topeka.
He was well liked by associates and friends and those who knew him. He was a Big Brother in the Big Brother/Big Sister Organization.
His love for the Lord Jesus Christ was evident and he always went the second mile for those in need.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Keith will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday and visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
