Beatrice Coates, 79, Topeka died
Thursday, May 29, 2003 at Plaza
West Care Center. She was born
Oct. 24, 1923 at McGill, Nevada,
the daughter of Agnes Ann Bradshaw
and David Heber Edwards. She
was preceeded in death by her
husband, Willis J. Coates and a
son, James David Coates. Surviving
her are 7 children: Dennis Coates,
Stephen Coates, Tony Coates, Jan
Pressgrove, Jay Coates, Mardi Weber
& Michael Coates. She is also
survived by 4 sisters 3 brothers,
23 grandchildren and 16 great-
grandchildren. Services will be at
1:30 pm, Friday, June 6, 2003,
at the LDS Church 24th & Kingsrow.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 5,
from 7-9 pm at Penwell-Gabel
Midtown Chapel.
