Barbara Jean Stansbury, 82, of Topeka, passed away at Lexington Assisted Living in Topeka on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
She was born July 13, 1941, in Topeka, Kansas, to Burton F. Deller Jr. and Nellie M. (Stuckey).
She attended Grant Grade School, Curtis Junior High and graduated from Topeka High School in May, 1959.
Barbara was married to Clarence Walstrom (Butch) on December 26, 1959, and together had two children, Bart and Lisa. She then later married William F. Stansbury in July of 1981.
She worked at for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas for 29 years and retired in 2003.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William Stansbury.
She is survived by her children, Bart (Carrie) Walstrom and Lisa (James "Bo") Sisson.
Barbara will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
