Barbara S. (Kemble) Lewis, 75, of Topeka, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015.
She was born June 24, 1940, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of George and Iona (VanDorp) Kemble. She was raised by Maude and Irvin Blankenship.
Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Topeka High School and was employed by BNSF Railroad as a billing clerk for 30 years, retiring in June of 2002. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church, Eagles TCU Union, and the Santa Fe Oldtimers.
She is survived by children, Daniel D. (Laurie) Lewis, Gregory W. Lewis, and Patricia D. Rodriquez; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and at Barbara's request, no services will be held. Private inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family.
