Barbara Kay Randol

Barbara (Kay) Randol, 78, of Topeka, passed away on October 9, 2024 at Midland Hospice House.  

She was born on January 6, 1946 to Clarence and Barbara (Kasson) Hansford in Topeka Kansas.  

Barbara (Kay) worked as a Dietary Manager for Lexington Park Nursing Home.

On January 6, 1962 she married Clyde (Butch) Randol Jr, they had 3 children, and lived in Topeka, Kansas. 

Kay loved to play bingo, fishing, camping, and dancing. She loved listening to blues and gospel music, and playing POGO. 

Kay belonged to North Rock Baptist church in Oakland. 

Kay is survived by her brother; Jerry Hansford, daughter in law; Terry Sue Randol, granddaughters; Linda Plemons, Jamie Lynn Frye, grandson; Joe Frye, and several great grandchildren. 

Kay was preceded in death by her husband; Clyde (Butch) Randol Jr., parents; Clarence and Barbara Hansford, daughters; Kathy Frye, Kelly Bowers and son; William (Bill) Randol. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 6:00-8:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Topeka, Kansas.
